Jack McNear, the owner of VRS, has been working in the radon industry for 10 years. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Civil Engineering. He retired from Kentucky State Government after 28 years where he served various agencies as Project Construction Manager, Director of Construction and Vice President over Construction and Facilities at Kentucky State University.

 

Jack served in the Marine Corps where he fought in the Persian Gulf war. Following 8 years in the Marine Corps, he joined the Kentucky Army National Guard and retired from the military in 2005.

Our team of  knowledgeable professionals has over 34 years of combined testing experience, and we are proud to say that we’ve completed thousands of radon tests for our happy clients.

Our services include testing as well as mitigation if needed.  Our extensive background and reputation have made us the "go to" radon testing company focused not only on residential, but also commercial,  multi-family and pre-build consulting.

We offer appointments Monday through Saturday (Sundays available with a $20
