TESTING

  • A radon certified technician will arrive at your property and determine the best location for setting up the meter.

  • Once set and calibrated, the meter will run for 48 hours collecting radon readings.

  • The technician will collect the meter and return to the office for a lab analysis.

  • A report will be provided to you with the readings and recommendations.

MITIGATION

​

Based on your radon readings, VRS may recommend a mitigation system to lower the amount of radon seeping into your home.  If you decide to install a system, VRS will:

  • Provide you with a quick, no obligation quote for your system.

  • Schedule that system to be installed by a Certified Technician.

  • Conduct a radon test following the installation to demonstrate a reduction of radon levels in your home.  

  • The EPA also recommends having your home retested every 2 years to ensure your system is functioning properly.
